New Marine Mammal Stranding App is Out!
A new android app is out!
Your report of a stranded, hurt, or entangled marine mammal will immediately go to trained and authorized emergency responders in the Southeast U.S. Marine Mammal Stranding Network. This app enables you to report dead marine mammals, as well as live marine mammals in distress and in need of assistance. Your quick reporting may help save an animal’s life by providing rescuers with real time information about the location and kind of marine mammal and enables scientist to collect valuable information that will help marine mammal conservation.
